Terms of Service

    Last updated: June 2026

    1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or otherwise accessing MyCertStack ("the platform", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the platform.

    2. Description of Service

MyCertStack is an independent educational platform. It provides structured study materials, practice questions, exam simulators, and progress tracking for learners preparing for IT certification exams. Content is produced through expert curation, research of publicly available exam objectives, and AI-assisted authoring. All content is reviewed by our editorial team prior to publication.

    3. Independent Platform: No Official Affiliation

MyCertStack is an independent platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any technology vendor, cloud provider, or certification body. All product names, certification titles, trademarks, and registered trademarks referenced on the platform remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely for nominative and descriptive purposes, to identify the subject matter of our study materials.

    4. Independent and Original Content

All study guides, explanations, diagrams, practice questions, and exam simulations published on MyCertStack are original works created independently by our team. They are based on publicly available exam objectives, official vendor documentation, technical white papers, and established industry knowledge.

MyCertStack does not host, distribute, encourage, or tolerate so-called "brain dumps" or any leaked, recalled, or unauthorised copies of live exam questions. Uploading, sharing, or requesting such material is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and, where appropriate, referral to the relevant rights holders. Our questions are designed to test the same concepts as the official exams, not to reproduce them.

    5. User Accounts

    • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
    • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and all activity under your account.
    • Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Sharing credentials or simultaneous use from unrelated devices is prohibited.
    • You must be at least 16 years of age, or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, in order to register.
    • We may suspend accounts that show signs of abuse, automated access, or credential sharing.

    6. Purchases, Subscriptions & Refunds

Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and include applicable taxes where required. Purchases unlock access to specific certifications, or to the platform, for the duration described on the pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled from your Account settings.

Due to the digital nature of our materials, all sales are final and non-refundable, with one strict exception: our 100% Pass Guarantee. We will refund your purchase in full if you fail the official certification exam, provided you meet ALL of the following criteria before your exam date:

    • You have explicitly completed, or marked as read, 100% of the Theory and Study Materials for the relevant certification.
    • You have attempted all available questions in the Practice Zone for that certification.
    • You have passed at least one full Exam Simulator session for that certification with a score of 80% or higher.
    • You provide the official failure score report issued by the certification vendor within 30 days of your purchase.

Refund claims under the Pass Guarantee must be submitted via our Contact page together with the documentation above. We verify in-platform progress against our records before issuing a refund. Statutory consumer-protection rights, where applicable, are not affected.

    7. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to:

    • Copy, mirror, republish, or resell any content from MyCertStack, in whole or in part.
    • Use bots, crawlers, scrapers, headless browsers, or any automated means to extract content, questions, or metadata.
    • Bypass or attempt to bypass paywalls, access controls, rate limits, or DRM mechanisms.
    • Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source of any part of the platform.
    • Upload, submit, or transmit unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or malicious content (including brain dumps, as described in Section 4).
    • Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure, security, or other users' experience.

    8. Intellectual Property

All original content on MyCertStack, including study materials, questions, explanations, diagrams, source code, branding, and design, is owned by MyCertStack and protected by copyright, database, and trademark laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the content for your own personal, non-commercial study purposes only. All other rights are reserved.

    9. Intellectual Property and Reporting

MyCertStack respects the intellectual property rights of third parties and expects its users to do the same. If you are a rights holder, or an authorised representative of one, and you believe that any material on the platform infringes a copyright, trademark, or other proprietary right, please contact us first via our Contact page and provide the following information so that we can investigate:

    • A description of the protected work or trademark concerned.
    • The exact URL(s) on MyCertStack where the allegedly infringing material appears.
    • Your contact details and, where relevant, evidence of authority to act on behalf of the rights holder.
    • A good-faith statement that the use of the material is not authorised.

Valid reports will be acknowledged within 5 business days. Where a claim is substantiated, we will take appropriate action, which may include removing or amending the material. This channel is intended to allow concerns to be resolved directly, prior to any external escalation.

    10. User-Submitted Content

By submitting reviews, question reports, or messages, you grant MyCertStack a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and use that content for the purpose of operating and improving the platform. You warrant that any content you submit is your own and does not infringe the rights of any third party.

    11. Content Accuracy Disclaimer

We take reasonable steps to keep our content accurate and up to date. Certification programs evolve continuously, and MyCertStack does not guarantee that use of the platform will result in passing any particular exam. Our materials are intended as supplementary study aids and should be used alongside official vendor documentation.

    12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or use the platform in a manner that may cause harm to us or to other users. You may close your account at any time from your Account settings. Certain residual data may be retained, as described in our Privacy Policy.

    13. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyCertStack and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from use of the platform. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to MyCertStack in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

    14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold MyCertStack harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the platform, or your violation of any third-party rights.

    15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MyCertStack is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Prior to initiating any formal proceedings, you agree to contact us in good faith via our Contact page so that the matter may be resolved directly.

    16. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be indicated on this page and, where appropriate, notified by email. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
